Ingredients
- Chopped Qurban meat (beef or goat)
- Fresh pineapple, grated
- 100g roasted peanuts, finely ground
- 3 tbsp sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
Satay Seasoning
- 8 shallots, coarsely chopped
- 3 ripe tomatoes, diced
- Juice of 1 lime
- 8 tbsp sweet soy sauce
Instructions
- Mix the grated pineapple, ground peanuts, and 3 tbsp sweet soy sauce in a bowl. This will be the marinade for the satay before grilling.
- Thread the meat pieces onto satay skewers, then dip them into the marinade. Let them rest briefly so the flavor absorbs.
- In another bowl, combine the chopped shallots, diced tomatoes, sweet soy sauce, and lime juice. Stir well, and set aside as satay dipping sauce.
- Preheat your grill or barbecue. Grill the marinated satay skewers until the meat is fully cooked and slightly caramelized.
- Serve hot with the prepared dipping sauce on the side.
